The Wingman

1. "If you had to choose one thing you need to have in life in order to feel life is worthwhile, what would that be. "(This can also be broken down to, "what do you enjoy doing?")

2. "What would that allow you to do" (or, "describe your perfect scenario doing that.") Listen to her answer, and repeat it all back to her

3. "If you could experience that perfect scenario of doing that, how would that feel inside?" (or if it's something she's actually done, "when you did that, how did you feel inside?")

After she describes how it would feel, you can say, "while you were saying that, I'll bet you felt it inside. See, in just one minute we've fulfilled your life goal. I guess you'll have to come up with a new one."

This should be said in a fun way. And please remember, I'm just giving an example of canned material, not advocating its use. Much of this book is devoted to coming up with deep connected conversations in the moment. You don't need to use canned material to be successful. But as I mentioned above, in a noisy club or bar, this is one way to get through the approach so you can move to the next step.

Once you've made a connection with the woman you're interested in, then you want to get her someplace quieter. You can say something like, "hey, I'm having a great time talking to you. There's a coffee place across the street. Let's go over there for a minute and I can tell you about the time I wrestled a lion." If she's with a group of friends, you can say, "hey guys, I think your friend really likes me. I'm gonna let her go buy me a coffee across the street. We'll be right back."

Notice that you're not going too far, so it's non-threatening.

It's important that you don't lose comfort or you'll be back to square one. It's also important that her friends aren't interfering, so they have to feel like what's going on is ok and their friend will be safe.

Once you're alone with her, you can get into the type of deeper, more connected conversation we discuss later in this book. It's time to build attraction, and relating to her feelings is a great way to do that. We'll go into all of that in greater detail later on.
