The Metagame: August 18, 2007

For those of you who have been in the game for a while now, you will probably have developed your own style of play. Whether you are following one of the more mainstream methods or have developed your own sense of game, you typically have a sense of sameness to our approach. For example, some PUAs favour a more direct style. Others prefer to use some form of dance game, whereas others may still use routines, or cocky funny type spur of the moment lines.

Do you know how to escalate and convert almost every day 2 into a Lay?

One of my good wings pointed something out to me recently and I can't believe how right he was.

Congratulations, you're in the matrix! Unfortunately we aren't all the Neo's we want to be.

There is a massive fucking issue with the Matrix. Instead of Neo, we're all Syler. You see when we see the matrix, we realise....We didn't fucking want it.

Un-Secret: October 16, 2007

I was teaching a student today and something clicked. Something big. We were talking about opening sets and I suggested going into HMV to talk to girls about the DVDs they were buying just to get practice talking. He then said something which I've heard many times before.

"I'm not interested in the DVDs they're looking at though"

Then it hit me. I am.

The difference between me and this guy was that I am genuinely interested in other people. The DVDs they buy, the clothes they want, making fun of them, making them laugh.
